The birds and the bees are always a controversial topic because no one really likes to talk about sex to their children. Teaching sex in middle school is a big issue for many middle schools across the United States on whether they should teach abstinence only, comprehensive sex education, or nothing at all. Is sex education something that should be taught in schools, or should it be the parent’s responsibility to choose what their kids learn about sex? Many middle schools teach sex education to their students, but many parents think that what is being taught in the sex education classes should be taught at home. Also many parents think that the sex education should have limitations on what they can teach such as only promoting abstinence as the right birth control method......
